Thanks for your message (below).  I notice that the WHO 1993 standards
for cell-phone exposure are cited.....  Am I not correct that those
(thermal based) standards are now totally discredited???

Roy, I have in front of me an article in Danish published in Nov. 1996 in
"Ugeskrift for Laeger" which is a Danish medical journal.  It is titled
"Mobiltelefoner og kraeftrisiko?" which I have translated as
"Mobile phones and risks associated with their power?".  The authors are
Christoffer Johansen & Jorgen H. Olsen of the Kraeftens Bekaempelse,
sektor for kraeftepidemiologi (I was unable to translate these terms,
except for the "epidemiology" part).  Kraeft is a word that can variously
be translated as force, energy or power.
I can't read this article because I can't read Danish; all I know is that
it is a commentary, and it seems to be a very brief review of the latest
findings.  Here are the English-language references cited; I found them
interesting and thought others might, too.
