......This may not have been intended for all to read. But I think
all should.....O.K. Robert??......

......It looks like I need to be adding more pages to EMF-L.....
The reason I have not, recently, is that the most recent addition,
"Inertia and Malfeasance," says most of what I want to say at the moment.
Some not too distant future developments ... are expected to change
that.....

Gentlemen:

I have submitted WaveGuide to Yahoo several times over the years, and
they have never linked it. I am surprised they have feb.se and the
jschultz reference ... (actually, I have also submitted several client's
web-sites as well, none were ever listed.)

Fortunately, not all the search engines or portals are like that. For
example SNAP.COM (Owned by NBC) actually awarded WaveGuide a SNAP.COM
EDITOR'S CHOICE AWARD, and Alta Vista (my search engine of choice) has
ALWAYS had WaveGuide listed.

Possibly in their defense, reportedly Yahoo actually has HUMANS go visit
the sites they link, and review the site for content. Industry scuttlebutt
is they are understaffed for this function. Maybe rather than
INTENTIONALLY neglecting to provide a balanced group of resources, they
prioritize on things with a higher "return", like
pictures of naked celebrities, or the like.

For what it is worth, THAT is WHY I do not use Yahoo as a search engine;
they CONTROL too much what they link to, where AltaVista is run by
programs that are delightfully devoid of humans NEED for judgement.
AltaVista indexes what is out there, Yahoo
indexes what they want you to see. [I understand they have indexed EMF-L,
however......guru.....]
