.......Jeff and I have been having a little off-line chat. I'm
sending his last message because it seems to sum it up pretty good.
And ... I find that I am in substantial agreement..... After all,
the premise of this list is that the "political/economic" is having
MAJOR impact on the "science" of EMF and its failure to be reported
HONESTLY to the public...... Without which society (as a whole)
cannot respond to the threats which EMF (may) present......

Perhaps, yeah. On the other hand, I'm increasingly persuaded we
(everybody) is in error to try to keep things in cubbyholes the way we've
always done till now.
Everything turns out to be related to every-other-thing; but our science,
politics, etc., have been just another variation on the idea of "let's
divide this in order to conquer it".
That has made -more- sense when done in the name of science, perhaps, than
in most any other field -- yet it's also introduced particular errors in
science, as well. It's the reason our orthodox medicine is 'allopathic',
which means only "focused on the reversal of symptoms", instead of
"focused on the wholeness of the human being". We've 'divided' the human
being up, in order to conquer his dis-eases. Hasn't worked all that well.
It's the vestiges of that traditional, habitual way of approaching the
world that has us (still) keeping metaphysics in one box, science in a
separate box; that has us automatically thinking that "the experts" for
some particular box are the ones to handle the things that come up in that
box (not us; not plain, ordinary human beings; but those familiar with the
box's contents; we'll therefore defer to their better judgment).
Yet, when we come down to true basics, all of it has "human beings" in
common; "human beings" are the -point- of the boxes, the fields, the
specializations -- and human beings are interested and affected by all of
it.
I'm saying only this: baseball and Kosovo relate to EMF, because you (and
I) are interested in all of it, and all of it is occurring in our
conjoined worlds, affecting all of us and all we do.
I'm increasingly seeing that this divide-to-conquer mentality has been
instrumental in producing the particular troubles we find around us today.
I'm likewise increasingly persuaded that true change will require a change
to that mentality first.
