Dear Virginia
Kati Winchell gave me your name as we have a situation in Bermuda where ther=
e are no regulations for cellular towers and the Govt says it relies on FCC =
regulations. A cellular phone company linked to Cellular One has built a 40=
'tower less than 30' from a house and in a residential complex where there =
are children and a children's playground which is itself next to ohter resid=
ential areas. The tower is only 40'high. Near the top of the tower will be =
installed a 2' microwave dish to contact the base station (as a dish is chea=
per than land lines) and two twelve foot antennae will be installed on arms =
at the top of the tower. We have not yet been told what the RF /MW levels w=
ill be despite requests.

I have various questions and maybe you can point us in the right direction.
Kati sent me Dr Cherry's report. If you ahve it could you tell me
what words appear on the 2nd line of p 182 as the words on my copy
between"away from residential areas on line 1 and "with so much open
space are missing.

Can you give us any guideline on whether the impact of these towers
on RF/MW levels or the RF/MW levels set out in Dr Cherry's report at
page 181 are affected by the height of the tower?

Do you have any more recent studies since Dr Cherry's report. Kati
said that you might have some

THe governemnt here has appointed a "consultant" to review the tower
issue and we owuld like to suggest experts with whom that consultant
could consult. IF you could give us some names and details that woudl be
very helpful

Is there any "safe" distance for residences schools etc from these
towers - we had heard 800' but are not sure if that is reliable.
Thanks for any assistance you can give
