.......If one holds any respect at all for **school children** safety in
the "blue world" school room envirnonment suggested below, then surely
the study of possible consequences should be done BEFORE all of this
'LAN' (wireless computer) technology is introduced.....

Roy

Following on from my previous message on this topic. The impact of new
technology has been examined in some of the submissions to the Standards
Australia Committee currently considering the ICNIRP Guidelines. It is a
foregone conclusion that systems such as wireless computer networks will
result in significant increases in operators exposures to GHz frequencies
where little, if any, research into possible a-thermal health hazards has
yet been done. As far as an impact on school children they may make good
guines pigs if anybody cares to study the impact on them.

A research project, specifically examining any health impact on school
children, would be an important study.
