.......(Note:  I believe MT = mobilt telephone).....  I also
believe that these studies (below) are part of the George Carlo
work reported before - a number of times - on EMF-L......

However, yes, Monica, I do believe that the FDA (Food and Drug
Administration) is genuinely "worried."  ......  They damn well 
should be!!!  They've been sitting on their ass for nearly a
decade and LETTING THIS HAPPEN.....!!!  

(FDA is the U.S. Government agency that is "responsible" for the
safety of such devices as cell phones.....  NO_ONE -- it seems --
is responsible for the health and safety of the antennas!!!!!!
Guru says:  The FCC is responsible for the antenna public safety ...
but they deny any such responsibility.....  That's Washington!!!!)

Cheerio.....  (Anybody knowing more about "identifying" the studies
below - please speak up.....)

Hi Roy and everyone,

I read in a Swedish paper (Expressen) yesterday about two American
studies, which have made FDA worried, so worried that they - according to
Expressen - "state that there are 86 million MT users in the US. If the
radiation is harmful, we may face a gigantic health problem"

Do you know of the unpublished studies mentioned;

American Health Foundation (double risk of a certain type of brain tumour
in MT-users) 

Integrated Laboratory Systems, North Carolina (DNA in humna blood cells
is destroyed when it is exposed to high doses of radiation from mobile
phones, which may cause cancer)

Perhaps you have already informed of these studies and of FDA statements
on your list, but lately I did not get all my e-mail and also I may have
missed it for other reasons.
