Roy to say that the environmental groups are asleep at the switch is an understatement - not only are they asleep - they are in a coma. Are they any better off than some of the other industry funded special interest groups? In recognition of its first year in Canada - FIDO (a wireless company) made a donation to the SPCA. Seems to me I put the question some time ago to PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) if they had a policy on cell towers. If I remember correctly the answer was - it never occurred to them. There was the problem with the homing pigeons about a year ago on the eastern seaboard. Then there is the web site http://www.towerkill.com/ that people might find of interest. Perhaps people on the list should be looking at the different environmental groups and boycotting those that deny there is a problem with the cell towers and siting.
