Roy, I seriously doubt that laser holograph ic scanners pose a hazard to anyone, as long as the precautions for use of lasers in stated classes are observed. Laser radiation is coherent and confined to a very narrow beam. Thus, unless the beam scatters off soemthing there is little or no no danger of it going where it was not intended. Roy L.
