Hi everybody:

My attention has been briefly diverted from EMF by some family business.
But I am still here and reading all messages. I hasten to forward the
following -- which had its origins in 1995! (The first year of EMF-L) --
because it reassures me that we are indeed "Shining the light!" however
slowly and laboriously...... I needed that!!!!

Also, there is a message here which I intend to edit a bit for
rebroadcasting to all -- about Dr. Goldsmith's presentation in San
Francisco -- that is uplifting!!! It appears that the message he
presented out there in California is one that should be widely
disseminated.... And Chris Beaver has provided the means by filming
it.... Libby Kelley will provide the info on how to obtain......

Cheerio....(Check out the THREE YEAR OLD message below.... I had
forgotten about it, but Chris Petersen, the man with the question, did not
forget....)

I'm sorry that I am some years in getting back to you. Your suggestions
were very helpful. I did have a dielectric
insulator placed just inside the wall of my home to isolate the incoming
water pipe and resulting EMF that was
produced by lack of grounding in some outside source. It has worked
great without digging up the front yard to
install PVC pipe or other more expensive means. My plumber worked with
the engineer to come up with this
solution. I hope this information helps others, saves money and reduces
the EMF risks.
Thanks again, Chris Petersen

Chris:

Pleased to try and help you. First, I'm forwarding this attached
document from my internet files. It provides some good background info
for your questions.

Second, I'm mailing you a package which will include a paper by Dr.
David Carpenter. Be sure you read that!! He is the "true" guru on this
subject.

Also, his paper discusses the childhood leukemia problems that might be
existent in the situation you describe. Leukemia would be *my* main
concern based on the scant info you provide. To my knowledge, EMF has
not been associated with diabetes.

Third, if you decide to get serious about this house you may want to
have it properly "surveyed" for EMF hazards. I don't have that
capability. Karl Riley does that. He is in Tucson, AZ (ph:
800-749-9873). It sounds to me like the house wiring could be a factor.
An EMF reading of 8 mG is pretty high in most any circumstances. If it is
attributable to that underground line that is across the street, I would
not buy the house. I assume that the reading was not taken at peak??? In
general, the kind of questions your situation is presenting need to be
surveyed at the scene.

I'm sure you appreciate that what I'm giving you is not a true
"diagnosis."

Keep in touch!
