Dear Roy

I understand that it's possible to check whether the springs of a bed have
become magnetised (by placing a compass on a chair next to the bed and
reversing the matress. If the needle changes position the springs have
become magnetised.)

However,I wonder if anyone can tell me how to demagnetise a bed?

With thanks
Lyn McLean
