Hi everybody:

The commentary below is not at all "out of order." Recall that guru's first mention
of the events at the
recent BEMS Annual Meeting featured a report about the paper presented by Dr. Reba
Goodman that: "stress proteins [which are] induced by [exposure to] low frequency
components of cell phones can serve as biomarkers". These "biomarker" stress
proteins, said Reba, would be a much better method
of measuring exposure to "harmful" EMF effects than the arbitrary (and scientifically
unsupportable) ICNIRP standard now in use....... She was saying, in effect, **at any
cell phone EMF exposure level where the stress proteins are "turned on," the risk of
health damage exists..**...... Goodman: "It is imperative that a new and relevant
exposure safety standard be developed for cell phones."

Cheerio......

Dear RoyI have been reading the opinions posted in the last week on the above
subject.Ten out of Ten to Wasserman for hitting the nail on the head!! Stop looking
in the wrong places. When this planet was created it was installed with a delicate
balance to sustain life. The molecular structure of life was such that it provided
every need for the ongoing survival of the planet. Along comes man with his greed,
his bank manager and his team of selected scientists who decide to re-write the
record books. The blue world evolves and we look everywhere, that is, where the $$$s
dictate!! and ignore the basics. This whole scenario now extends to genetic
engineering of foods, for what, for $$$ under the guise that it will feed the
impoverished nations? The latest genetically engineered corn seed is planted as crop
and the Guinea Fowl that feed on them are dying in droves. Genetically engineered
crops are pest free, hooray! the pests won't go near them! Why! because the insects
don't need scientists to tell them that the new product is incompatible with nature
and its normal molecular structure and therefore should not be fed on!Where is this
all going to end up - have a guess!!!Bruce Davis
