Kathy Moran has forwarded some interesting news reports that are appearing in
the U.K. about this
very current topic: earpieces ... for added safety when using mobile
phones........

May the guru ask: If they make sense (and they do to me) why not take the next
logical step and
eliminate ear(phones) or ear(pieces) altogether???....!!! Why not use a
**speaker** phone??? I do...... Most of the time -- even when using a "cell
phone."........

But, as readers of this list know well ... the "Blue World" of electromagnetic
radiation can (and probably is) doing damage to the human race while it is "air
born" as well...... So, there are no guarantees are
there???

Nevertheless, a reasonable application of the "prudent avoidance" principle --
on a personal basis -- has
led me to believe in taking "prudent" measures that will minimize exposure
whenever I can...... That
certainly includes avoiding the use of the ordinary "ear" mobile/cell phone
altogether.......

I am disappointed in this discussion's progression, however...... At the end of
last week I thought some
excellent ideas about the importance/desire/need to move in the direction of
**biological** testing -- and
measurements that rely on **biological** effects (e.g., Reba Goodman's "stress
proteins" technique) --
seem to be the direction in which we should be going...... Rather than
continuing down the path that is being dictated by the IEEE (and others in the
"techie" world)...... Guru says again: Let us start thinking about this
"EMF/EMR" problem in **bio-electrical** terms!!!

Cheerio........
