Dear Friends and Advisors,

This material is worthy of  consideration by all concerned about the 
rapidly expanding global telecommunications infrastructure and potential 
health risks.

Please print out and review these documents. They are comprised of
1.  A cover letter to potential signators from the originators of this 
correspondence, a group of citizens in Switzerland.
2.  The letter itself, accompanied by an comprehensive bibliography of the 
most compelling scientific studies on the effects of radio frequency 
radiation on biological systems.
3.  A signature form

I urge you to consider signing this letter as an individual and/or 
organizations.  We have until September 16 to respond to the Swiss group 
who initiated it. The Swiss government has adopted some of the most 
stringent RF exposure standards in the world - 4.5 uW/cm2 for cell 
antennas.  The Swiss government has actively been reviewing this matter for 
several years on behalf of the public. The Swiss government recently 
removed a shortwave radio tower in Swartzenburg, near Berne, which was 
found to cause sleep disruptions among local residents based on Public 
Health Department epidemiological studies.  Ironically, Geneva, 
Switzerland, is home to the World Health Organization headquarters.  The 
WHO is now in support of the International Commission on Non Ionizing 
Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) position that there should be a global 
"harmonization"  of RF exposure standards at U.S. levels, which is right 
below thermal or tissue heating level.  The accompanying  bibliography if 
published studies shows there is a body of  research which indicates 
potentially adverse effects will result from the pervasive and uncontrolled 
RF exposure conditions life on the planet would be subjected to should the 
ICNIRP Standards be adopted.

This letter is timely, important and would serve the public interest.

I highly recommend the Swiss citizens group who originated this letter as 
being credible and responsible.  I met with some of their representatives 
when I attended meeting in Salzburg Austria this past June on he subject of 
cell towers and the public health. Some of the concerned scientists and 
public officials who took part in those meetings have collaborated with 
this citizens group to prepare this letter.
