The legal challenge is based solely on health risks and Mr. Justice Moses ruled yesterday that Mr. Al Fayed had an "arguable case" for seeking judicial review on the local council's decision to grant planning permission for the proposed tower which is expected to have six antennas and four dishes mounted to the facility. Mr. Al Fayed has joined a global constituency of individuals concerned about the serious health and environmental ramifications of exposure to electromagnetic, microwave and radio-frequency radiation emitted from wireless communication facilities. The EMR Alliance is pleased that it was able to provide Mr. Al Fayed's legal counsel with information on this important health and environmental issue as the case was prepared and is delighted that Mr. Al Fayed has joined the global community of those opposing the unsafe siting of wireless communication facilities. I will be happy to fax the two news articles that appeared in today's news papers in the UK (The Independent and Daily Telegraph) on this action to anyone who would like to have more detail. Please send me your fax number with complete city and country code information (or physical mailing address). I will keep you posted as details develop on this matter.
