Contact the manufacturer and find out if your model meets or exceeds the MPRII standard (which came out of Sweden and is widely understood by monitor producers) 2. Get a milligauss meter and hold it on edge 11.8 inches from the face of the display tube along the axis of that tube. You should read no more than 2 milligauss. You hold the meter on edge to sense the magnetic field from the vertical scan frequency which usually is in the 60-80 Hertz (cycles per second) range. Felicitations, Ed Maxey >To: "Roy L.
