Dear Roy,

My personal Christmas message to you is to say THANK YOU, ROY, from my 
heart.  For your strong and persistent coverage and commentary on the 
hazards of electromagnetic radiation - the science, the technology and the 
politics.  You are making a remarkable contribution to advancing the cause 
by educating and empowering citizens, generating open exchange, 
and  insistence on speaking truth to power. Your light is not just a 
candle, Roy, it is a torch, that ignites multitudes of torches.  May all 
these lights continue to enlighten us and empower others.

I am reading a book called "Soul of a Citizen - Living with Conviction in a 
Cynical Time", by Paul Rogat Loeb. http://www.soulofacitizen.org/    St 
Martins Press - New York, 1999.  He writes about today, and how ordinary 
citizens can get involved and make their voices heard.  This book was 
recommended to me by a good citizen named Ralph Munson in Cleveland, 
Ohio.  Ralph, some may know, has been carrying the torch on EMF issues for 
years and is a long term member of the EMR Alliance.  He works as a real 
estate broker and evaluates EMF exposure conditions on communities and upon 
point of sale - a highly ethical and meaningful way to protect against harm 
or injury.  Ralph is one of my heros.

In his book, Rogat quotes Thomas Moore, who says, "Finding the right work 
is like discovering your own soul in the world."   I hope we all can take 
heart, from these words.  I wish you and all the enlightened members of the 
EMF-List a memorable holiday season, each in your preferred traditions.
