......Well, this one is kind of silly.... But it is beginning to
intrigue me ...... Laurel says that AT&T -- the big telecom company --
is running some ads that depict a Santa Clause (selling cell phones)
... get this ... that looks like guru...........!!

Do you think I ought to sue..... Or send them a bill......????

Cheerio..... (This is NOT a TGIF message..... See below.....)

Dear Roy,

I certainly do not think of you as either of those fictional characters
either.
I think you are a very important person in my life, and in the lives of many
people though.
I am still interested, however, in the ad for Bell Atlantic Mobile, because
them using a Santa photo that resembles you is so characteristic of the way I
see the waveform/telecommunications groups playing games with the world...The
santa has a big black Bell Atlantic Mobile banner over his forehead.
It implies your support of their cellular systems I suppose, to me.
The photograph is only the eyes, nose, glasses and beard of Santa, winking.
And part of his cap. Looks like you in your photo online though.
The caption is:
"Free weekends. the best network. A $39 phone. this year, we've save the
best 'til last.
Free Weekend home airtime for one year!"
Anyway, I just thought I would tell you about the ad.
You are certainly not the Devil, dear sir, although I realise that
identification with the same is a peer group option with some support
everywhere this year.

Best Wishes,
Laurel

Thanks for your note..... I am not Santa Clause..... I am not
the Devil, either..... Somewhere in between, I guess.....
