Hello,
I am writting to get any help I can,any information that may help my
community stop the local power company from errecting high voltage power
lines in my front yard.

We do have the normal 12kv power lines in front of our houses,(apperantly
on county property) however, they want to put in four 230kv power lines
on new poles to supply a paper mill. The paper mill already has power
from their own local power company. At one point  our local power company
wanted an easement on our property. No one would give a right of way
easment so the power company decided to put it along the county road,is
this legal?  They say then they do not need an easement.That we can have
no say on the matter. Yet these high voltage lines are feet from my
home.

I have heard that you can not build under high voltage power lines, is
this true? They are now working very fast on this project. We where told
this project would not start untill April of next year. They started last
week.Of course when most people are very busy with the holidays.We had no
notification at all. We need to stop them now! They are so sneaky and
powerful. Please if you know of any information please help! 

We know we need a lawyer as soon as possible. Do you know of any that
specialize in this? We are in the Spokane Washington area.Please contact
