Seems like we'd be remiss not to mention the work of John Ott, here.  One
of the things he's noted for is devising a lead-lined box to sit his TV
in, with the screen pointing upward and then reflected to him by mirror,
so that none of the radiation would be coming in his direction.  Sounded
pretty kooky at the time; not nearly so strange, now. :-)
