(( for posting on your list-serve. Tks, Roy. ))

That "Times of London" piece ((Angelos vs Verizon, Vodaphone, others,
12/28/00)) is fascinating. Please note that the news article also mentions
telecom engineers who, through their work, suffered from exposure to
cellphone microwave emissions generated from transmitters, feedlines, and of
course the antennas with their directional arrays. ((I have yet to see the
actual court brief specifics here.))

This latter aspect of the case would seem to open the way for class-action
cases from those who live and work near cellphone antenna arrays mounted on
buildings, and which would include elementary schools, nursing homes,
certain residential areas, office workers, and the like. Like suits might
also be filed against any entity that had rented space for cellphone
equipment facilities.

If anyone knows of past suits that involve towers and antenna arrays, please
advise myself, at markmu@erols.com . Thankyou. Our small residential
community here has just begun engaging the adjacent park authority
( http://www.NVRPA.org )) , which is again considering rental of park land
to AT&T and Verizon for their giant 500-watt cellphone facility on the
Washington, DC Beltway. The same park authority has already allowed five
other cellphone facilities on other park land.

Wishing you well,

Mark Murray
