I believe it is correct to say:  Hair loss as a result of "radiation 
exposure" has long been recognized as one of the possible consequences 
of IONIZING radiation.

The more we learn about the biological effects of NON-ionizing radiation,
the more the distinction between the effects of the two is becoming less
certain -- at least "blurred" somewhat.  Therefore, it should not be so 
surprising that anecdotal examples of hair loss are being reported in the
case of NON ionizing radiation exposure, i.e., RFR or microwave emissions.

Dr. John Goldsmith -- were he alive today -- would not be surprised at
such reports.  He was (I believe) the first SERIOUS scientist who began
to believe that the "man-made" definition which defined the two kinds
of radiation ... should SERIOUSLY be questioned.....  Mother Nature, in
other words, did not know about such a distinction......guru.....

It would appear that many types of EMF/EMR can cause hair loss.  Years
ago I had a client family living on the right-of-way of a 500kv
powerline.  Both husband and wife had lost their hair and eyebrows.
Both were certain that their hair loss as well as a number of other
health problems came from the nearby powerline.   Another example:  my
mother sustained a concussion last Spring. She  had X-rays, an MRI ,a
cat-scan and who knows what else?  Her skin was brilliant
red (as was my son's and mine) the entire time she was in ICU.   No
wonder she was dizzy!  She lost a 3" x 2" rectangle of hair on the back
of her head for which I gave her bee pollin and evening primrose oil.
Her hair has returned.
