Today, December 8, the U.K. Department of Health announced that it will sponsor
£7 million (about $10 million) of research on the possible health effects
of mobile phone radiation. On the same day, it released two leaflets.
"Mobile Phones and Health" highlights the uncertainties about health risks of
mobile phones and discourages their use by children. The second leaflet
addresses base stations and health. The leaflets are available as pdf files at:
