.........From EMF-L........

Yes, Carole, I do believe we have a Vatican reader on this list...... Whether it will be
thought that the health of "the flock" is more important than God's business -- I
wonder??.......

Anyway, this case -- which has the "look" of a Lookout Mountain situation -- has been
well reported for some time....... The vatican simply seems to be oblivious to the
criticism
they are getting.........guru......

Roy,
A friend gave me this article. Do you have Italian connections that could verify?

IN NEED OF A MIRACLE
It is likely that the residents of Cesano, a northern suburb of Rome, have been praying
for divine intervention in the face of increased cases of cancer.
It is reported they are experiencing an incidence of tumors 30 per cent above the national
average.
This has resulted in 7,500 deaths over six years, leading to an official investigation.
The culprit, it transpires, is the Vatican, which broadcasts all over the world from a
forest of antennae at Santa Maria di Galera, near Cesano.
Vatican Radioís electromagnetic pollution, according to a separate enquiry by the Lazio
region, is almost three times the legal limit.
But reducing the radio emissions will not be easy. The Vaticanís legal representatives
argue that those who exercise Vatican activities are not punishable by Italian law, and
the 1951 accord recognises the extra-territoriality of the radio transmitting complex.
It remains to be seen whether the prayers of local people will prove to be more powerful
than the legal might of the Roman Catholic Church.
