Hi Roy

Thanks for everything.  Have you heard of the Multilateral Agreement 
on Investment (MAI)?  It is the scariest thing I have heard since 
first reading about EMR and associated corporate scandals.
It is a treaty that has been drawn up over the past couple of years 
by the OECD countries - and is only just receiving public 
international attention due to the fact that it was leaked by one of 
them and put on the net.
It gives all corporations virtually carte blanche to do what they 
like - override any countries laws on the environment, labour, health 
and Safety, etc. etc. and no country will be able to impose any 
restrictions on them whatsoever.  Any country that signs is bound for 
20 years.  It is due to be signed and sealed this May.  Let me know 
if you have not heard of it and I will send you some stuff.  Do you 
have a fax number?  Or a mailing address?  I don't have very good 
access to the email machine at the moment....so don't worry if you 
don't hear straight back from me.
