Roy,
I have just read the CBC "Cone of Silence" transcript that you so generously
sent to all who requested it. I would like to see our own Public Broadcasting
Service broadcast the videotape or else air their own investigation. I
suspect that there are reasons to inhibit their doing this. One reason might
be fear of the current congress, since that congress has been prone to cut
their funds in the past, and Congress and the Clinton administration are so
thoroughly in bed with the wireless industry. I suggest that everyone who
receives this transcript (after having read it) Email it on to their local PBS
stations and any commercial stations that might be receptive and ask them to
air it for the local audiences. This might pressure PBS to air it nationally,
if they don't have any plans already to do so. Thanks you very much for
making this explosive transcript available to all of us.
