Dear Cathy,

I'm from Valinhos, são Paulo, Brazil. We have the same situation, but I
asked Dr. Vitor Baranauskas, PhD, phisician teacher from Campinas
University (Unicamp), http://www.fee.unicamp.br:80/~vitor/ , and he said
me that water minimize radiation on its direction and can not be
polluted by non-ionizing radiation. See his e-mail below. However, an
eletric engineer said me that neighbourhood can be victim by shock from
thunderbolt, because cell tower increases thunderbolt attraction and
water is eletricity conductor.

Caro Dr. Alexandre:

Obrigado pelo seu interesse: Felizmente não há nenhum problema
no caso do reservatório de água próximo da antena de celular, ao
contrário, a água deve atenuar a radiação emitida pela torre na
direção do reservatório.

Abraços,

Vitor
