........Dr. Szent-Gyorgyi must have some experience in the EMF
research community.......One collection of data which somebody
(MicroWaveNews) should compile: How many researchers have found that
they no longer can get funding -- after producing results which
raise questions about the effects of EMF/EMR upon human health???

TGIF, everybody.......

Here is a quote I found that is amusing. (Dr. Szent-Gyorgyi is a former
Nobel prize winner, I believe.)

"Dr. Szent-Gyorgyi said that he had recently made two scientific
discoveries, and that he had three criteria for knowing that they were
valid:  first, they were valid if other scientists said they were wrong;
second, he knew he was right if others began laughing at him; and the
final test of the validity of his discoveries came when he found that he
was no longer receiving grants."

I found this in the preface to volume 719 of the Annals of the New York
Academy of Sciences (1994) page xii. The topic of this volume is THE
AGING CLOCK: The pineal gland and other pacemakers in the progression of
aging and carginogenesis. I was looking at it because I describe the
effects of digital cellular phones on the human brain as "likely to
produce premature aging of the brain" which in my eyes means premature
onset of Alzheimer's disease (though it could include the development of
cancers, too). Anyway, I'm fairly sure that EMF of some kind plays a
role in human aging, so the topic seems relevant to the EMF health
effects issue. -- Marjorie
