......I KNOW this is going to take us far from our EMF "blue world"
subject......But rumors (on the internet and elsewhere) on this
subject have been rampant for some time.....If anyone has some GOOD
SOLID information to offer, I would like to publish it.....But I
will NOT publish anymore statements which lack substantiation.....

i.e., On the basis of substantiated scientific knowledge, one should
question statements like:  "eavesdropping on a persons thoughts," or
"electronically implanting voices in a person's brain,"......????....
Other than, perhaps, within the confines of a laboratory.....

I just don't think it relates to the EMF "blue world" scenario....

Subject: Mind Control

It may be of interest to the group to know that when I began to
practice as a bioelectromagnetic hygienist, I was contacted mostly by
individuals.  They fell into two categories:  those who were
electrosensitive, and those who considered themselves victims of
"electronic harassment".  Those in the latter category complained of
either physical sensations in their body that they believed were
externally induced, or mental "experiences" that they believed had an
external origin.  Microwave radiation that is appropriately modulated
can cause a variety of biological effects, and has certainly been
explored by the U.S. Department of Defense as a nonlethal weapon; for
example, it is possible to produce nausea in a group of people by
beaming a particular microwave signal at them.
But more is possible.  Voices can be electronically "implanted" into
one's brain (e.g., via "microwave hearing").  Also, it is now possible
to "eavesdrop" on a person's thoughts!  Much of this capability was
developed by firms under contract to the federal government; with the
recent push to commercialize the technology developed under government
contracts, this capability is now moving to the private sector.  And a
great deal of this work is covered by patents!
I am aware of two individuals who have tried to sue the federal
government on the issue of using human beings as unconsenting subjects
of research in this area.  One suit was thrown out of court this
summer; the other is still ongoing. -- Marjorie
