The Washington community now has a lot of those guys -- elected to
represent the "little guy," but perfectly comfortable (after a
few years in Washington) ... playing footsie with the BIG $$$$$$$$.

Hi Roy    -    Yes, I definitely have noticed the "smirk."  George Bush will 
have a tough time because he does not appear relaxed or genuine.   The votes 
from this house usually go mostly to the Democrats; however, we do give the 
candidate strong consideration.   We will be compelled to vote against the 
Democrats who have helped continue unabated pollution and intrustion of EMR's 
without telling the people "like it is" and also in not requiring industry to 
take responsibility in the issues of mitigation and prudent avoidance.  

Of course, we all know that former President George Bush has his own 
skeletons in the closet especially regarding the original EPA 
release.........    As they say, "the fruit doesn't fall far from the 
tree......"   (or is it "the nut???")

Even tho Senator Paul Wellstone (here in Minnesota) is apparently not running 
again, he did nothing to show that "he cared" (the Democrats) about the RAPID 
conclusions.    I am still waiting to hear from him.  There was a lot of 
money allocated to the subjects of "who to tell", "what to tell" and "if they 
should tell"......

I will be following Bill Bradley and John McCain's campaigns and am certainly 
not ruling out crossing party lines (again).......      Take care  -   Joanne
