Subject: Cell phone on CBS/Miami

Tonight,
CBS/Miami  affiliate channel 4 began a series on Cell phone issues. The
story began with two women with brain tumors. The two women were
cellular phone sales reps.
The story began by saying that the government and the CTIA claim that
evidence on cell phones say that they are absolutely safe. The story
switches to Dr.Carlo who then says" that's a lie" The story also
explains Henry Lai's study showing memory problems and references are
also connected to Repocholi. Additionally the story moves to Gandi and
his study and how the industry pulled the funding rug out from under him
when Ghandi's study did not turn out the way industry hoped. When News 4
asked for on camera interviews with CTIA, they flatly refused. When they
asked Motorola- said they had no one available. Meanwhile they quoted
FDA as saying that that there isn't sufficient information to prove or
disprove the safety of cell phones. The story continues tomorrow night.
Meanwhile another Miami television station(NBC 6) is also airing a story
on cell phones tonight at 11PM.
