Dear Roy,
we have occasionally here also discussed the quality of light itself -
especially of course in relationship with striplights. The other day I
found a fun thing which makes it very visible. I received a sample CD in
the post, which I found I didn't want, so I was going to throw it away when
I saw the beautiful colours reflected in it when I moved it. So I had a
thought and put it under a strip light, and then under normal light bulb
(and by a candle) (sorry, no sun here to be used during this time of the
year and my ofice faces north). There was a marked difference in the
spectrum displayed.

Could be a way of showing people something ... ?!?!?

Anybody having words to explain the difference and what is going on?
