.......Dean, the answer is: it might!!

But that is only to scratch the surface of this problem......!! And, if
much heavier reliance on LCD monitors would work ... somebody needs to
go out there and prove it.... It is not enough to just sit back and
surmise about it.....

Millions of pairs of eyes -- and millions (probably hundreds of millions)
-- of brains are impacted by this..... Lord knows, I have no bias
against mitigation (as opposed to distance) ... but someone needs to
prove that it works, first..... There are "out there" dozens of so-called
mitigation devices which I strongly suspect to be phony..... Don Maisch
has a good essay about that on his website.

We must not let society pursue a policy that says "mitigation will take
care of us -- it will allow the status quo to continue" (as the power
industry would like -- perhaps the cell phone people, too) ... when we
know that not ALL mitigations measures are valid.....

Cheerio.....

Dear Roy:

What about LCD monitors? Don't they effectively eliminate or vastly reduce
exposure to EMFs? Wouldn't this be a more effective solution for sensitive
computer users?

Thanks,
Dean
