For now, I am seeking a concise summary of the type of research that is currently taking place on bio/health effects from RFR exposure, particularly from cell phone transmission frequencies. Idealy, I would like to obtain a list of the people conducting research and a brief description of the type and purpose for their research, even if no conclusions have yet been reached. We have a conditional use hearing tomorrow evening for a 160 foot telecommunications transmission tower and I anticipate that we will be given an opportunity to voice health concerns about RFR. My objective is to point out that the scientific community is divided on this issue and that although there is no conclusive evidence yet, there is much research taking place both here and abroad. By providing a brief summary of what is happening on this issue within the scientific community, I may be able to raise the ZBA's level of concern and at the same time rebutt to some extent Bell Atlantic's experts should they claim that compliance with FCC standards assures adequate protection. Anything that you can offer would be appreciated.
