Subject: ...word about Aspartame....

For those who may be missing out on this excitement so far:

 - Someone using the name Nancy Markle 'adopted' the transcript of a talk
given by Betty Martini some time ago (found at the www.dorway.com site),
added some emails, rearranged the whole thing a bit, and submitted it
somewhere without Betty's name on it. The central topic: connection
between Aspartame ingestion and symptoms or worsening of symptoms
attributable to Multiple Sclerosis, et al.

 - Another woman, who didn't know Betty, forwarded the Markle post to 450
mail lists. (Since then, that woman and Betty have come in contact
with each other.)

 - "Critical mass" has been reached; the Markle information is being
refuted and rebutted by 'official' folks -- but also, people all over the
world are writing and calling Betty, with stories of relief from their
symptoms, etc. Almost overnight, Betty's Mission Possible (which has
mostly been Betty but with volunteer associates in many countries, too) is
facing the need to add additional phone lines and volunteers -- plus, the
email is overloading her ISP's server, it seems, too.

 - Thursday or Friday, things had spread to such a degree that there was
mention of all this on CNN. A news piece (AP?) said many fine things
about "no breakthrough is gonna come to you via a secret message on
Internet" and "be sure to use on reputable sites on Internet, such as the
site of National Institutes of Health", etc.

If you're using aspartame or have loved ones who are, you may wanna look
into this further. Either:

...or:

...might be a good place to start.

All the best,

We ask that each pay according to the value of what s/he receives,
based on what s/he feels s/he truly can afford. In this way we
need never turn anyone away, and folks who can pay more may
know they have helped their neighbors who can pay just a little.
