We had a victory last night!  The planning commission has called for the
revocation of the conditional use permit (CUP).  There will be a hearing
in two weeks.  We already have indications from the city council that
they will support the revocation and will deny any appeal. The alarming
part of this is the huge number of people that have serious health
issues, that have arisen in the last few years.  Do you have any
resources for environmental attorneys that we might refer our nieghbors
to?  Seven women on one block have breast cancer.  A twenty-two year old
girl, who has lived here all her life was diagnosed with thyroid
cancer.  Numerous other stories of headache and equipment malfunction
and even deaths.  I would hate to be a guinnea pig, but this may be a
rare opportunity to prove a human health link to low level EMR.  Thank
you again, if you have any suggestions as to the oppositions next moves,
please let us know.
