I just picked up remnants of a msg which inferred that Pres. Clinton was
the biggest supporter of the Chinese Communists.....So much for our history
lesson.  I see it differently...It seems in early l972, Nixon sent Henry
"K" to Beijing to open relations (informally of course) with the
CHICOM's...If you recall, the cover story was Henry was ill in Pakistan
with an intestinal bug.....B.S......At the time I was Senior Advisor to the
CHINATS on the off-shore island of Quemoy (aka: Kinmen) and Chiang and his
son Jing-Gwo were fit to be tied and I had the task of trying to explain US
foreign policy to some very angry CHINATS....So much for your revisionist
history...Yes, it's true that China recently got some missile technology
from the U.S.....but realize who is behind this......hint, big business so
they can sell an unneeded anti-missile, missile system to Congress and the
public.......Let's put the shoe on the feet of both parties....It's money &
BIG BUSINESS interests that are doing the orchestrating......Sandman Sends!

I certainly agree with much of the commentary above, particularly the last
sentence.....  (Also, 'Colonel' Mike and I were both there -- at Quemoy
and Matsu....)

The important point, though, is that America's "liberal" President Clinton
always manages to be the world's leading "apologist" for the Beijing
government at times when Beijing is under attack for its civil rights
violations.  That has, indeed, been his record since coming to office....

In other words, when Beijing's anti-civil rights policies are under attack
-- they have always been able to count on Bill Clinton to make excuses for
them.  This, of course, encourages them to continue their anti-civil
rights ways, rather than make any efforts to reform their system ... as
shown in Kerrie's message.

Now, why does our "liberal" president behave that way???  The answer is
in Mike's last sentence above.  Clinton's "liberalism" is phony!!!  

He readily "throws over" his liberal "talk" (speeches, press releases)
when it becomes a hard "action" choice between "profits" and (liberal)
"principles."

I remember a statement made by one of my econ teachers MANY years ago:
"Wall street," he said "would rather have in the White House an
***unprincipled*** liberal than a conservative of principle -- because
the liberal will be able to fool the public into thinking he is doing
their work ... while in fact he is doing the work of his (hidden) Wall
Street supporters!!!"

That's Bill Clinton all right......(And it partly explains his
determination to pretend to be 'blind' about EMF....)
