That is "all" -- from zero hertz (cycles) up to and through about 30 gigahertz. These bands include the frequencies for power lines, home appliances, MRI instruments, radio/TV, cell-phones, microwaves (in the gigahertz range) and radars ... to name some, but not all, of the potential exposures.......There are people on this list who can provide a much more definitive answer.......guru........ ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Date: Sun, 03 Jan 1999 12:42:11 -0800 From: Robert PritchettTo: "Roy L. Beavers" Subject: Frequency Dangers 1) Which Frequencies are considered to be Electro-Magnetic Frequencies? (I won't accept "ALL" as an answer!) 2) Should we be really concerned about AM and FM frequency ranges? (Radio signals boosted from Radio Towers can be rather high!) Watts vs Coverage 3) Are these FAQs? I'm particularily concerned at the moment about the 5.7 MHz part of the Spectrum because it is being used and proposed as potential bandwidth for wireless applications for both phone and networking. I'd like an answer I can "feel good" about when we're asked about safety issues (I'm raising) in regards to "dosing" the public at that frequency. Any "takers"?
