"La Coordinadora" against power lines and transformer installations is
formed by different groups of ecologists and city residences.


"La Coordinadora" stressed that the conclusion of the Bristol Study in
the United Kingdom supports their thesis about the hazardous health
effects of these installations to the people living near them.

Once again it has been demonstrated that independient scientists have
proved the danger of high tension power lines, transformers, substations
and repeating antennas to people living nearby.

This association informs us about a study, the EMF International 
Project, which began in 1996 and will continue until 2005.

This study will offer detailed facts about Health and Environmental
Effects of EMF exposure which can vary in time.

On the other hand, "La Coordinadora" lamented that the Congress did
not approved a proposition to study EMF effects, because it
could imply a political commitment to take care of the city
residences' health and environment.
