Hi everybody:
I'm back...... Just needed to take some time off and change the
routine a bit. Also had minor difficulties with the computer.
Lost about 100 names off of my list. (I had been so busy with
so many additions -- few deletions -- that I had not "saved" my
list recently.)
Some of you found the note I posted on the website, but many
evidently did not. I appreciate the many "what happened?"
messages I received. In the future -- you might want to keep
it in mind that I will post some sort of notice on my website
if I am able to do so......
Sorry ... that I did not plan this "break" in advance. Usually,
I try to provide some advance notice. But the computer "drop
out" and the pace of recent activity suddenly made it look like
a good idea to "drop out" myself for a few days.
I have done some housekeeping with my list. It is better
organized and I hope that I will be able to maintain this
organization in the future. It will make it possible for me
to do a better job of tracking the areas of interest.
This opportunity for introspection made me aware of the very
BROAD scope of subject matter (as well as the large audience)
we are now covering. Also ... the **results** that are beginning
to show. I will be forwarding another message about a recent
court-case development in Louisiana..... "The court in Louisiana
has now scratched beneath the surface and found there is nothing
of substance to protect consumers." .... "...the FDA is not
doing its job." (Dr. George Carlo)
I have forwarded below a message about an extremely encouraging
recent development ... which is another example of what I am
saying. Some of you will want to join in the activities of
this new group that is dedicated to an exploration of the LAN
issue.
There is no doubt that the expansion of the LAN (wireless)
technology -- particularly in the classrooms -- is fraught with
uncertainty for human life in the decades ahead..... Unless
SOMEBODY can show that the (admittedly low) exposure levels are
safe..... Or even "probably" safe.....
Industry -- as you know -- is content to ASSUME the safety ...
even in the face of research which raises legitimate doubts
about uncontrolled human exposures to RF/MW radiation!!
Of course, our governments continue to LOOK THE OTHER WAY!!!
To them -- the hazards and uncertainties of the BLUE WORLD
are figments of "our" imagination...... I hope I can expect
to live long enough.... Most of YOU will!!!
It seems that an inherent **incapacity** to anticipate and
react in a prudent and timely fashion (if the PUBLIC's
interest and welfare is involved -- rather than the "political"
vested interests) is one of the **immutable characteristics**
of modern 'government' -- even "democratic" government!!
I guess all of us in America are hoping for a "new look" at
the entire EMF (Blue World) issue by the new administration.
Even at this moment, they are assuming the reigns of power
in Washington.
I do not expect much to change. Wall Street Georgie (from
Midland Texas) takes office with even more "obligations" to
the BIG $$$$$$$ of influence in Washington than did his
predecessor, who rented out the White House bedrooms for the
cash to conduct his political shenanigans.... Some of you
may have noticed the reports about the $40 million that was
"paid" by BIG industry to cover inauguration costs?? These
BIG $$$$$$ contributors are "buying" more than "access" --
they are making an **investment** in future RESULTS.....!!!
It might be worthwhile to point out -- however -- that this
time of 'change in administrations' (normally some four to
six months) can be a **window of opportunity** for "insider"
bureaucratic officials to honestly voice their concerns (their
knowledge!!) about public health and safety matters which have
been neglected by the outgoing administration.....!!!!
During such times ... it is easier for important public
disclosures to occur......???!!
