Roy, this is going to UK church leaders, the editor of the times,
Tony Blair and church science/technology groups....

It has come to my attention that one or more ‘wireless providers' i.e. cell
phone companies, are attempting to persuade the Church of England to permit them to install
wireless antennae and transmitters into the majority of Churches in England and it is
reasonable to
assume they will adopt a similar tactic in the near future with Church of Scotland buildings.

In return, these ‘wireless providers' offer money to help with Church upkeep and
say it will help mobile phone users have better ‘coverage' and therefore increased
personal safety
in the event of a personal emergency.

Superficially this it seems like a reasonable request, but there is an agenda here
driven by corporate greed that is at best ignoring and more than likely concealing
possible severe
health effects for those members of the Church and the surrounding neighbourhood who will
be exposed
to chronic levels of microwave radiation from these installations 24 hours a day.
Sadly, most Western governments (with the exception of Austria and Switzerland) only
seem concerned with tax revenues garnered from wireless technologies and not with possible
associated health hazards.

There are very few health studies available to the public, and those that have been
released have been influenced by wireless industry money or ‘spin doctors'. However,
there is
sufficient independent evidence in both the medical and electronics industries that says
we should
adopt the precautionary principal, that is, do not place these microwave wireless
transmitters where
humans will suffer long term, low level exposure until we know what the health effects are.

No doubt the law suit announced by Peter Angelos, the man who exposed the tobacco
industry lies over health safety, will open the floodgates on health safety issues
associated with
prolonged, repetitive cell phone use and the effects of bathing the populace in microwave radiation
24 hours a day from transmitters so these cell phones can operate.

I believe it would be prudent for the both the Church of Scotland and the Church of
England to balance the fiscal needs of maintaining beautiful places of worship with the
health of
the associated congregations.

Inevitably the Vodaphone /Verizon law suit will bring to light many secret wireless
health study memos as we saw during the tobacco law suits. No organisation should want to
run the
risk of class action law suits brought by people whose lives had been destroyed by microwave
radiation induced illness. Vatican State is already under legal pressure as it harbours many
microwave antennae and transmitters whose radiation permeates thousands of nearby homes.

I'd ask that the Church leaders in Scotland and England exercise the better part of
good sense and wait until there is categorical independent medical proof that chronic
exposure to
low levels of microwave radiation from cellular/wireless installations is 100% safe before blindly
accepting what may be ‘blood money' from any wireless company.

There are funds available through the lottery that should be spent on causes far
more worthy than white elephants such as the millennium dome, including the restoration
and upkeep
of places of worship of all denominations nationwide.

I will gladly furnish the ‘web' locations of many independent health studies should
you wish to pursue any investigation, rather than simply trusting the word of multi-billion
dollar/euro enterprises concerning the ‘safety' of their products and associated microwave support
infrastructure.

This communication was sent to the following recipients in an effort to avert the further
encroachment of microwave emitting sites used by the wireless industry into Church
properties until
we have definitive independent proof that there is no health hazard posed by chronic 24 hour/day
exposure to this radiation.
