The researcher from U. Mainz is Schuz. This is being sent out throughout Australia today in approx.10 hours. Please give it as much circulation as possible. One problem is that I make reference to my newsletter in two places. I have airmailed out to you a copy which hopefully should arrive this week. Media coverage of the NCI study continues to get worse. The PR flacks who seem to be called "science reporters" on the staff of the major newspapers are pushing the line that this study exonerates everything to do with EMR. This is a sample of what we are getting: *Researchers who claim that there are health effects are playing on community fears to get lucrative research funding. *ALL fears about powerlines, TV and mobile phone towers, mobile phones, etc. are based on superstition, much like witchcraft, haunting astrology etc. *I especially dislike this one, to quote: " Perhaps fear of electromagnetic fields is the modern upmarket version of the evil eye. Superstition and quackery flourish in medical matters also.". . . What we are witnessing is the death of factual investigative journalism. It would seem many newspaper reporters will gladly suck up the propaganda dished out by the transnational PR firms who work on behalf of industry. I highly recommend the book "Toxic Sludge is Good For You: Lies, damn lies and the public relations industry", by John Stauber.
