My name is Gary Brown and I am the cofounder of a the South Florida
Group called F.A.C.T.+= Families Against Cell Towers- We are currently
engaged in a struggle against the telecom Industry. We are finding that
the major key to success with this issue is lobbying the the state
representatives, federally elected congressman, and House members. This
requires calm rational facts coupled with phone calls and eye to eye
meetings with those representatives.Success with this issue will only
come about when your local officials are educated and lobbied. The
FCC/EPA/ FDA and the white house need to lobbied the same way. Industry
will continue to get its way and endanger our futures unless we form
state or regional groups that will lobby like hell to get positive
change. The industry is in turmoil because citizens are protesting.
Currently about 300 moratoriums are in effect nation wide on the cell
tower issue. Remember there is power in numbers and your effort is
needed.
Our group has received wonderful support from Ergotec and the EMR and
could use yours
too.
Thanks Gary Brown
