Dear Karl,

I read with interest your message dated 30.7.97 regarding monitors and
wondered if someone can point me in the direction of any published works on
the subject, particularly relating to any biological effects etc.

I was also interested to read about electrosensitivity and wondered also
whether there were any published articles or research papers available on
this topic. Our company Microshield Industries PLC manufacturers a
radiation
protection cover for digital and analogue cellular phones (one that actually
works!) and we have logged over 1000 calls from users complaining of
headaches and migraines. Other symptoms include eye and ear problems, a
tingling/burning sensation to the skin, a numbness or soreness to the
surrounding areas, nausea and dizziness. Also reported have been users
complaining of feeling muddled or confused, problems to the kidney causing
them to pass water far more often than normal and also toothache in teeth
which have amalgam fillings. In most instances other than the kidney
problem, using the Microshield protective case has either reduced
drastically
the symptoms or caused them to disappear altogether. Many of these callers
have not initially attributed the cause of their problem to their cellular
phone, as the symptoms did not appear when they first started using their
handset. Some had been using their phone for as long as six months when
they
got their first symptoms. I wondered whether this was normal for any type
of
electromagnetic radiation sensitivity or whether it was peculiar to cellular
phone usage?

Finally, has anyone noticed the slow but sure about turn of Britain's NRPB's
on the subject matter of cellular phones? It seems as if the mice from
Australia may not have been sacrificed in vein afterall! (More information
avalilable to anyone interested)
