Roy, are the concerns stated here about smoke alarms or some other system?  I
once consulted for a maker of smoke alarms, and they do not involve RF as far
as I know.  I have knowledge about both photoelectric smoke detectors and
ionic smoke detectors, if any of your list recipients want additional
information about how these devices work.
