Subject: Radiation Limits in a "Blue World"....

Hi,

Although this is about nuclear radiation, I think the following news-patch
reflects the politics of EMF "safety"-limits...

Till 1999, Germany will lower the safety-limits for nuclear radiation
according to a EU rule. The limit will be reduced from 1.5 to 1.0 Milli-
Sievert per person per year. However, the German environmental minister
REJECTED the request by the German Association for Radiation Protection
to reduce the limit 10-fold, ***"because this would mean that 80% of
this country would have to be evacuated."***

They simply adapt the "safety"-limit to the present "blue" radiation
levels -- sounds familiar...

Cheerio
Chris
