Hi Drasko,
EMFs work underwater, a little different depending especially on
frequency. However microwaves and all higher frequency EMFs are very
strongly dampened /absorbed in water ( this is why a microwave oven
works) - it also depends on the water "thickness as you experienced
yourself. This is the reason way they use "Super-Longwave" for
submarine communications, those have the least "loss" in water.

In regards to fish and EMF the problem has many faces. I had such a
question from British Columbia here in Canada. There a "fish kill"
moved South through a valley and some people thought this may be
caused by cell phone towers. However, the reason for such fish kills
is mostly chemical, however it is a possibility that something in the
food chain or environment went "crazy" due to the increased EMF
there. I have not enough specific data on Iceland to seriously
evaluate the situation.

The frogs world wide seems to die from a very common fungus.
However my wife as a biologist asked if this could be quite the
other way around and the fungus is kind of a symbiont to the frog and
stopped doing his "beneficial " function - and this is killing the
frog , since young ones are not affected despite carrying the fungus.
And if this may be caused by a too high EMF "noise".

She was put up to that by the fact that during an "electrical" day
(thunderstorm) yeast dough ( yeast is a fungus too ) won't properly
rise - as known for centuries!!!!. Quite a remarkable observation
with a lot of merits.

The increased EMF radiation and much more the increased
noise pollution and chemical pollution of the oceans in consequence of
the satellite navigation ( no more narrow navigation routes) are in
my opinion much more a reason for problem in the fish resources. Also
that some use "remote" ocean area to dump "problem" garbage. The fish
in the oceans have no sanctuary left - like all people on earth
won't find an EMF free spot either anymore.

However the direct application of EMF in Iceland with the subsequent
outbreak are one serious fact - that needs some clarification - what
type of EMF was applied - and especially wether the fish or the
virus are affected by the EMF - or both. Also in fish hatcheries
the "gene-Pool" is very limited too - another possible factor!!

In Minnesota where the frogs not only died in large numbers
but also developed many deformities - it is the Minnesota water ,
but nothing could be found in the water - however, when they used any
other water, the tadpoles developed normally. But water from any
Minnesota sources seems to have the same effect !!
( according to an article by the Department of Natural Resources)

What a wonderful world ................

Greetings
Wolfgang
