Marjorie , I fully agree with your idea that a combination can be
worse than the pure sum of single frequencies. I will explain why
in my book - it is an inherent systematic problem with our human
"recognition" function. Our body "synthesizes" subharmonics and
reacts to those !!

While I fully agree with that idea that distance would reduce the
problem - my point was that such a thing is IMPOSSIBLE in
some areas especially in Germany or Holland , Belgium etc.
moving it a few thousand meters (= a few kilometers) put its smack
center into the next village or town . The problem is that the
current locations already are in the "least populated" spots -
- no place left to move them at all - this is why a (temporary) shut
down is the only alternative - as demanded by the Bavarian Vet..

As I have pointed out years ago - we may have no chance left to
establish a TRUE threshold since every possible location is already
radiated at a higher than threshold level.( See my articles on that)

We may have to come to terms with a limited cellphone network
e.g. NO cellphone transmission from 9 pm to 6 am (overnight) and
on Sundays.

I have thought about solving this dilemma many times . The most
feasible change to the current system would be that the transmissions
are on demand only . According to the use statistics this could bring
a reduction in transmission radiation by 40% - perhaps even more - if
the antenna at towers would be segmented an even further reduction
could be achieved. That would however require computerized
selection equipment at towers making these installations more
expensive and probably less "competitive" compared to our normal
wired phone system.

Also the power could be reduced to a fraction of what is PERMITTED
today - the reason we have that high power radiation is only because
it is permitted and makes the operation equipment cheaper.
Technically we could run the system on 5% of the current allowed
transmitter power but that too would make the equipment more
expensive. While this is small in regard to the price of a
phone, it is substantial on the transmitter equipment , however, the
public health justifies this investment.
In my opinion cellphone towers are nearly 100 fold
overpowered.!!!!!!!

We should not only consider human and animal problems only because
plants don't scream. They suffer in a similar way. Being
permanently microwaved means for plants to be killed slowly too
- or it can cause "cancer" and genetic defects in plants. Since
they make the base of our food chain the "well being" of plants is
another thought not to be overlooked in the discussion of EMF.
We are all interlocked in the great circle of life.

Greetings
Wolfgang
