An obvious question to your query below is: Are you sure that diet was
not a factor in your son's calcium problem? Also, you did not describe
anything about your EMF environment at the time of your son's conception
and pregnancy? (Presumably the son that was born "in the bush" of
Alaska was not in any kind of EMF exposure situation? How does
that differ from the environment for the son with the calcium problem?)
As to the possibility that this problem may be more widespread than
we suspect and therefore another consequence of EMF exposure that has
not yet been associated: we do have someone on the list from CDC (Center
for Disease Control). Perhaps there is some data regarding an upward
trend in calcium (or other mineral) problems?
Anyway, many thanks for your comment!!! I'm sure that there are more
like you "out there" who should be speaking up and telling us about/why
they have concerns about EMF...... If the EMF effects are as subtle and
broad within our human health physiology (as now seems to be the case),
then it is clear that we are only beginning to "scratch the surface" of a
huge submerged iceberg of knowledge that we MUST begin to understand ...
before we charge blindly further into the age of electricity -- which, in
terms of 'ubiquitous' higher levels of exposure, we have only begun to
really "sink into" since the end of WWII.
Guru has written before that, like mankinds earlier experience with fire,
our goal must be to learn to live safely with electricity..... Not to end
our exploitation of it..... No-one (particularly not the guru) believes
that the answer to the "EMF hazard" will be to abandon the role of
electricity or electronics within our society. No, the answer is more
likely to be to learn the PARAMETERS of potential harm so that we may live
safely WITH electricity..... Electricity is not likely to turn out to be
another lead or asbestos.

Hi,
I've been getting your stuff for quite a while now but never responded.
(I'm also jenny@connectexpress.com)I figure that I don't really have
anything to say.
BUT when I read this one on the low calcium levels I have to ask has
anybody that you know of looked into low calcium levels in childern? The
reason I ask is my son, now 7 yrs, was born with no enamel on his teeth he
has had 6 root canals along with lots of other dental work that started a
age 1. At the time I thought this was very odd. I was fanatical about
brushing his teeth and yet my sisters' kids who were all born 15-20 years
before and never took care of the teeth had perfect teeth still to this
day. Now my brother who has 2 childern both had problems and are now 8 &
10. Family history shows no teeth problems.
I've got to say that this has bothered me for quite a while now. All the
Dentists said that it was either because I nursed him or that I was very
sick with a high fever when pregnant. I was never sick. Nursing is the best
thing you can do for your child. I was pregnant in Seattle. Now my other
child is 2.5 years with perfect teeth, during this pregnancy I lived in the
bush of Alaska.
I had taken my son to see 9 Dentists and none of them thought that this was
odd they see a lot of it. As a matter of fact at the Childerns Orthopedic
Hospital, where they do the dental work on young childern, had a 4-6 month
back log of kids with the very same problem most under the age of 3 years.
Now I think this is odd. When I was a child there was never this kind of
problem in baby teeth. The other thing I find odd is that my son is alleric
to minerals, he can't absorb them.
I had questioned that perhaps I had not taken enough calcium when I was
pregnant and was reassured by all that if that was the case he would have
robbed it from my body.
I didn't mean for this to get so long but it all sort of seemed relevant.
Perhaps there are studied out there about this that might help the EMF
cause. I believe it to be enviromental.
