The obvious answer would be to move away from the potential hazard, but I would like more than just one option. My employer is more than willing to work with me to relieve my concerns regarding my exposure to EMF's in my work area. This leads me to a question I have been searching for with no answer; I have an electrical panel adjacent to my work area, is there a shield that can be installed? What material, requirements, etc. that can be used on my side of the panel/wall? The Goss measurement seems to be low on the average which is approximately 4-16. The measurement against the wall was well over 200+. Quite honestly, the integrity of the measurement is questionable. It was measured by a non-professional in this field, but rather our Company's safety specialist who borrowed the meter from a local electrical utility company. My concern is I sit at my work station 8 hours/day, 5 day/week and I question the long term adverse effects to the exposure of EMF"s, albeit mild in nature. Thank you very much for your time in this matter.
