I don't know about more sophisticated phone handsets, but most of the
cellphone companies have now filed patents for low radiation phones
specifically aiming to reduce health risks. I hope to get copies of these
patents, and already have one from Philips. What intrigues me is how these
firms can file such patents on the one hand whilst denying the existence of
risk on the other. "Something wrong, Surely?!" to quote Private Eye.

PS I suppose everyone knows that the UK Dept of Health (Porton Down) is due to
report on RF/MW mobile phone frequency effects on rat brain slices at BEMS
next week?
